Saturday Oct. 7th U13 Final Assessment Ice Times, News, U13, 2023-2024 (London Devilettes)

I’ve heard back from most families about Saturday, but I wanted to get this list out asap, so if your players name is on here, but you cannot make it, no problem, just let me know.

Anyone who requested 1pm or 2pm time slot was accommodated.

This Saturday will be our final assessment and the teams will be put together before our Wed Oct. 11^th ice time. Saturday will be split between skills and a full ice scrimmage for the final 20 minutes.

I’m pretty sure I’m covered for on-ice volunteers (I will be confirming with you guys), but I will need 4 volunteers for each session to help run the doors for the scrimmage. I would only expect you to run a door for your players session. Just like Wednesday’s assessment, there will be timed 2-minute shifts, so all you’ll need to do is open the door on the buzzer and send the next group out. As I mentioned, we’ll only be scrimmaging the last 20 minutes, so you’ll only be needed on the bench from 1:30-1:50, & 2:30-2:50, respectively. Please let me know if you can help with this.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the, players for their hard work on the ice, the volunteers who have stepped up, and all the amazing U13 families. Being new to the convenor role, I’m learning on the fly and the support and words of encouragement I’ve received have been greatly appreciated.
